Security has been heightened at airports in Gujarat's Vadodara and Bihar's Patna after bomb threat emails were received by the airport authorities on Tuesday.
RD Chauhan, Inspector at Harni PS, Vadodara, stated that police teams are handling security at the airport due to a bomb threat. Additionally, Bomb Disposal Squad, Dog Squads, Ambulance, and Fire tenders have arrived at the airport.
The statement was prompted by social media posts made by Taiwanese singer R-chord on June 14 and actress Alexis Ho on June 15. These posts detailed efforts by Beijing Ciguang Film and Television Media Co, Ltd, a Chinese company, to recruit them via email for pro-China activities.
Upon getting the information about the threat, the police and the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) team reached the hospital located in Banganga locality in the city and scanned the premises but nothing was found.
