During the inquiry, police said it learned that the deceased was mixing masala in the mixer grinder on the second floor when he apparently suffered an electric shock.
Following the incident, a team of police was called to inspect the spot. Based on their initial investigation, a case under section 304 A of the IPC has been registered at Preet Vihar police station.

In the incident, seven people, including three children and three women, were electrocuted to death during the 'Ulta Rath' while 16 people sustained injuries.

A woman died due to electrocution on the New Delhi railway station premises on Sunday, said Delhi Police. The body of the woman has been sent to Lady Hardinge Hospital for postmortem, the Police added.
Officials said that the victims were carrying the body of a woman to a local burial ground on Friday, a day after her death when the incident took place.
