After planting the sapling, CM Yadav visited the Gaushala and performed puja of a Guamata (cow) on the occasion. He also fed animal fodder to the little calves and pampered them.
CM Yadav also said that under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign, the Madhya Pradesh government decided to plant 5.5 crore trees across the state and around 40 lakh plants would be planted in the state capital Bhopal.
