India and Namibia have agreed to work towards closer cooperation in the field of energy, including in oil and gas, green hydrogen, and solar with the two countries also looking at ways to expand bilateral trade

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar inaugurated the Namibia University's fully equipped IT center, known as The India Namibia Centre of Excellence in Information Technology (INCEIT) built with Indian assistance.
Taking to his official Twitter handle, Jaishankar underscored that the contemporary cooperation between India and Namibia should be build on political goodwill and growing development partnership.
"I received many messages and foreign ministers and friends from across the world. The Prime minister also received lots of messages. This is an example of how globalised today's world is and how the world is connected with India," he said further.
