Jaishankar said that for India, ASEAN is the cornerstone of its Act East policy and the Indo Pacific vision that was built on it and the people-to-people linkages that India is constantly seeking to expand
"Agreed on the need to give strong guidance to complete the disengagement process. Must ensure full respect for the LAC and past agreements. It is in our mutual interest to stabilize our ties. We should approach the immediate issues with a sense of purpose and urgency," Jaishankar said.
While addressing a weekly media briefing, Jaiswal said that foreign ministers of four nations will take forward the Quad agenda and take stock of all that has been achieved so far.
