Delhi Police is probing the Shraddha Walkar murder case in which she was strangulated to death by her live-in partner Aaftab who then allegedly chopped her body into 35 pieces before dumping it in the Chhatarpur area of the national capital.
According to the police, the post-mortem report revealed that the woman died due to asphyxia. The police further said that the woman was a nurse by profession.
Aaftab is accused of strangling Shraddha, his live-in partner, to death and chopping her body into 35 pieces. He is also alleged to have preserved the chopped body parts in a refrigerator before dumping them in the forests of south Delhi's Chhatarpur.
The police had registered a case against unidentified people on the basis of a complaint lodged by locals of the area.
