Ahead of President Droupadi Murmu's visit to Uttarakhand, ADG (Intelligence & Security) Abhinav Kumar held a briefing for the officers on duty on Sunday.
In a post shared on X, President Murmu said, "Shocked to learn about the loss of lives in a tragic incident at Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. I extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved families and pray for quick recovery of those injured."
Taking to X, the Prime Minister said, "Heartfelt greetings to all my family members in Madhya Pradesh, the state that cherishes its glorious history and cultural heritage, on the occasion of the state's Foundation Day."
In a post on social media platform X, the Prime Minister hailed the spirit and progress, stating that the state has shown unmatched development. He further credited the people of the state, saying their hard work and dedication will ensure the state continues to grow.
President Droupadi Murmu extended warm wishes to the people of Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, and Pudducherry on their Formation Day.
The event will, for the first time, feature the participation of the indigenous aircraft carrier INS Vikrant along with the Kalvari-class submarines. President Droupadi Murmu will review the fleet on February 18.

President Murmu, who is also the Supreme Commander of the Indian Armed Forces, flew for about 30 minutes, covering nearly 200 kilometres before returning to the Air Force Station.
Indian Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh flew a Rafale fighter jet over Ambala on Wednesday, leading a formation sortie that also saw President Droupadi Murmu experience the aircraft for the first time.
