As a devastating fire has been raging in Jammu and Kashmir's Kaldi forest area for the past four days, Ghordi Block Development Council Chairperson Arti Sharma on Wednesday requested the administration to send fire brigades to douse this fire.
The fire was doused and two injured including a woman and a child were admitted to a hospital, Additional Police Commissioner of Ghaziabad, Dinesh Kumar P, said.
"A fire broke out in a chemical company around 10:30 AM. The fire spread to the adjacent chemical company too. We have evacuated the whole area. The efforts to douse the fire are underway...," Deputy Commissioner Of Police Kalyan, Sachin Gunjal said speaking to ANI.
