Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday trained guns at the ruling DMK government in Tamil Nadu, saying that the party's dream of returning to power will turn into a "nightmare."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday called Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin's "DMK does not fear PM Modi, not even if the father of PM comes" remarks a "badge of honour" for democratic values.
Addressing a public meeting of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), Palaniswami launched a sharp attack at the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), calling it an "anti=people government" which the alliance aims to dethrone.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched a scathing attack against the ruling DMK government in Tamil Nadu, saying that the party's dream of returning to power will turn into a "nightmare" and the NDA will form a government in the state.
"Under the earlier Congress-DMK rule, the people of Puducherry faced immense hardships. Those years were marked by political instability, allegations of corruption, rising crime, and the neglect of the poor..." the Prime Minister said.
"We are truly honoured that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, leader of the NDA alliance, will be visiting Madurai tomorrow. He will visit the Lord Murugan temple, which, after a lot of struggle, has finally been opened to allow the auspicious lighting of the lamp," Goyal told the media.
Tamil Nadu Congress President K Selvaperunthagai on Saturday said the alliance between the DMK and the Congress is natural and very intact, and asserted that even if Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits Tamil Nadu 100 times, the BJP won't take anything from the state.
DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi on Saturday stated about the progress of the DMK's election manifesto. The DMK MP Kanimozhi said that the party's manifesto preparation committee is actively working and the document will soon be finalised.

Tamil Nadu leader R Sarathkumar on Friday asserted that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) remains unaffected by former Chief Minister O Panneerselvam's decision to join the DMK-led camp.
