A massive eviction drive, described as the largest in Assam's history, began this morning in the Bilasipara subdivision of Dhubri district. The operation is being carried out across Bilasipara East, Chirakuta Charuwabakhra, and Santoshpur areas.
The accused was arrested after a joint operation was carried out by the STF Assam and Dhubri District on June 20, officials said. With this arrest, a total of 12 people have been arrested under Operation Ghost SIM.
