Amid rising dengue cases in Odisha, the Health Department has earmarked 40 sentinel sites in the state to check the spread of the vector-borne disease, officials informed on Thursday.
Bangladesh witnessed over 99,994 dengue cases this year as 2,134 fresh cases were reported overnight and 10 patients died during the same period, reported Dhaka Tribune on Sunday.

Bangladesh reported 18 more deaths due to dengue in 24 hours till Monday morning, taking the death toll from the mosquito-borne disease in the country to 416 in 2023.
