Patiala House Court on Thursday sought an explanation over production of the seven accused 24 hours after their arrest from Judicial custody in Tihar Jail.
Saraswati has been arrested in a case lodged at Vasant Kunj North Police Station. This case has been lodged by students studying at an institute run by a trust.
The counsel for one of the accused, Subhash Chandran, said that the police had requested a seven-day custody, but the court granted only three days after a lengthy argument. The accused will be produced in court on Friday.
