A woman sustained minor injuries while a significant loss of property was also reported after a massive fire broke out and swept through the three-storey M2k Mall at Delhi's Rohini, fire officials said.
Around 6.05 am, we got a call regarding fire and our team with two sky-lifts and 22 fire tenders immediately reached to the spot. Simultaneously, we have launched a search operation and looking for the missing.
Two fire incidents were reported in the national capital on Friday evening. The first incident was reported at a banquet hall near Kalkaji metro station on Friday evening, while the second fire incident was reported at a factory in Delhi's Bawana Industrial Area.
The incident took place in Shakarpur S-block and a total of eight fire tenders took around six to seven hours to bring the fire under control, officials said.
A massive fire broke out at a plastic factory in Narela's Bhorgarh Industrial Area on Monday morning. No casualties have been reported in the incident.
"We have received more than 80 calls in Delhi only. There were calls about bomb threats, and we responded to all the calls and sent fire tenders to all the locations. But some schools have started sending their vehicles back. I believe all these calls are likely to turn out to be hoaxes,"
