An unverified video purportedly showing the moments after the deadly Naxal attack on the District Reserve Guard (DRG) personnel in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada surfaced in which a Naxal was seen firing at the police.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday expressed grief at the deaths of 11 people including 10 police personnel in the Dantewada attack and assured the Chhattisgarh government of all possible support.
In the telephonic conversation, the Home Minister also assured the Chhattisgarh CM that the centre would give all possible help to the state government.
Confirming the incident, Chattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said, "There is such information with us. It is very saddening. My condolences to the bereaved families. This fight is in its last stage. Naxals won't be spared."
The bus was travelling between on Barsur-Palli Marg when about 20-25 Naxalites set it on fire. The incident took place in the jurisdiction of the Malewahi police station. Dantewada Police confirmed that all passengers are safe.
An encounter broke out between police and Naxals near Bacheli police station in Dantewada in Chhattisgarh on Wednesday night when the Naxals tried to set fire to one JCB machine and one truck used for doubling the railway track, said the police.
