Two naxal couples carrying cash reward of Rs 20 lakh surrendered before security personnel in insurgency-hit Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh, police said on Monday.

The jawan from District Reserve Group (DRG) Dantewada identified as Ajay Mandawi suffered minor injuries as he got hit by a pressure IED near Kurush while he was on his way back from a Naxalite camp.
Making headway in the ongoing Dantewada blast investigation, Bastar Police released the photograph of the Aranpur blast's mastermind and also announced the cash reward for naxals indulged in the incident.

Notably, 10 personnel of District Reserve Guards (DRG) and a civilian driver were killed after Naxals blasted a vehicle ferrying the security personnel on Wednesday in the Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh.
Yuvraj Singh, the eye-witness said that he was in the second position of the convoy but the other car overtook him, and within seconds the blast took place leaving all of them completely stunned.
