Responding to the Uttar Pradesh government facing criticism from opposition parties after the body of a girl was found near a village in Ayodhya, state minister Swatantra Dev Singh said that the state does not have Samajwadi Party government and so no accused will be spared.
Following the protest by members of Valmiki Samaj and Dalit Mahapanchayat against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, which resulted in the vandalism of AAP's election campaign van, the Delhi BJP asserted that the incident reflected public anger rather than "hooliganism.
