Western Railway will run two Superfast Special trains from Ahmedabad to Delhi and Mumbai to ease the passenger traffic after an Air India plane crashed shortly after taking off from Sardar Vallabhbhai International Airport on Thursday afternoon.
"I want to express my sorrow over the incident in Ahmedabad, I hope the government will conduct a proper investigation and whoever is responsible for this, hope the responsibility will be fixed," Mufti told reporters here.
The London-bound flight, which departed from Ahmedabad at 1338 hours, was carrying 242 passengers, including 12 crew members. Of these, 169 are Indians, 53 are British nationals, 1 Canadian and 7 Portuguese nationals.
