After the announcement of the assembly elections date on Monday, the BJP released its fourth list of candidates for the Madhya Pradesh assembly polls with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to contest again from his traditional seat of Budhni.

"All BJP leaders in Madhya Pradesh, including CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan were shocked by the caste-based census. BJP is strongly against caste-based census. BJP's DNA is against OBCs," he added.
Surjewala said, “The way in which we wait for Ganpati Bappa, Madhya Pradesh is also waiting for happy days. It is hoped that Ganpati Bappa’s blessings remain and the immersion takes place. Ganpati Bappa may return but there should be an immersion of bad administration in Madhya Pradesh.”
Congress Rajya Sabha MP Randeep Surjewala slammed the Bharatiya Janata Praty (BJP)-led Shivraj Singh Chouhan government over Ujjain minor rape incident saying that it has ashamed the soul of entire Madhya Pradesh and the country.
