According to the Ministry, 16 PLA aircraft and 6 People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) vessels were detected operating around Taiwan up until 6 a.m. local time.
Three Taiwan nationals have been found guilty of engaging in business with a Chinese firm not permitted by the competent authority in Taiwan, according to the Hsinchu District Court which handed down its verdict in late April.

Eight more people have succumbed to injuries sustained in an attack incident reported at a hospital in Zhenxiong County, southwest China's Yunnan Province on Tuesday, bringing the death toll to ten, as reported by Xinhua News.
