They said that the China-made drone was recovered from outside a house in Hardo Rattan village.

The Public Relations Officer, Punjab Frontier, BSF, said in a statement, "On 7th May 2024, based on specific information regarding the presence of a drone in the border area of district Amritsar, BSF troops promptly launched an extensive search operation in the suspected area."
"During the search, at about 12:5 pm, the troops successfully recovered one drone from the outside area of a house in village Hardo Rattan in Amritsar District. The recovered drone has been identified as a China-made DJI Mavic 3 Classic," the PRO added.

Based on the information, BSF troops rushed to the spot and carried out an extensive search operation.
