Communist Party of India (Marxist), Tripura State Committee has decided to field former MLA Sudhan Das (64) to the Bye-Election of the Council of States (Rajya Sabha) from Tripura, CPI (M) informed in a press statement.
Recently Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that, out of five seats where the bye-election will be held, BJP will contest in three seats while its ally parties AGP will contest in Bongaigaon seats while UPPL will contest in Sidli seat.
