Union Minister of State Sukanta and BJP leader Sukanta Majumdar on Tuesday said that the Budget 2024-25 is a comprehensive budget with a primary focus on creating jobs and aims to benefit all sections of society.
The Finance Minister, in her seventh consecutive Union Budget for 2024-25, outlined key priorities aimed at fostering economic growth and creating ample opportunities. The priorities include Productivity and Resilience in Agriculture, Employment and Skilling and services.
According to a press release by the Ministry of Finance, India's inflation remains low and stable, progressing towards the 4 per cent target, with core inflation (excluding food and fuel) at 3.1 per cent. Measures are being taken to ensure adequate market supply of perishable goods.
"This budget clearly shows that this government has neglected 140 crores of people to appease two people (BJP allies) so that their the government is saved. This budget is more for the happiness of two of their friends."
