Karnataka Assembly on Thursday passed a unanimous resolution over the border issue with Maharashtra stating that legal action will be taken against any minister of Maharashtra if they continue to make statements over the issue.
The Lok Sabha on Thursday adjourned till 2:00 pm amid disturbance created by the opposition in the house protesting and demanding a discussion over China's action and the Tawang clash.

Amid simmering tension between Karnataka and Maharashtra over the border issue, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) leader Sanjay Raut on Wednesday sparked a fresh controversy by saying, "We will enter Karnataka like China has entered the country".
The first day of the winter session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly began with an uproar by the opposition, with MLAs of the Mahavikas Aghadi holding placards protesting in the Vidhan Bhavan premises over the Maharashtra-Karnataka border dispute.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, speaking on the border issue with Karnataka in the Legislative Assembly on Monday, said that there should not be any politics on it now.
"Karnataka and Maharashtra CMs' talks with Union HM Amit Shah should be made public. We'll support it if the state government brings proposals on the border issues," said Ajit Pawar.
"Our protest rally on December 17 will focus on the Maharashtra-Karnataka border issue, insult of Maharashtra's icons by the Governor and BJP leaders and other issues. It'll be a silent and peaceful march. We're yet to get permission for it," said NCP leader Ajit Pawar.
"Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is recognizing its unsung heroes and they are being given a place in the curriculum," said CM Pema Khandu.
