As per the sources, the Centre has provided the security cover to Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary, Karamjjit Kaur Chaudhary and Tajinder Singh Bittu only in Punjab.
The security cover was provided to the three leaders following an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) based on Intelligence Bureau's recent threat analysis report.

Hours after joining BJP in the presence of Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and party general secretary Vinod Tawde, Tajinder Singh Bittu met BJP national president JP Nadda in Delhi on Saturday.
This comes at a crucial time, in the backdrop of Lok Sabha elections being held across the nation. Bittu's exit marks another setback for the Congress party, which has witnessed an exodus of big leaders in the last few weeks.
"I think Ravneet Bittu is against the politics of Rahul Gandhi. I am happy that he has gone to the side whose line he took. Congress will not weaken, instead, new faces will get a chance. Such people only love themselves, not Punjab," Singh told ANI on Tuesday.
In a major setback to Congress, Ludhiana MP Ravneet Singh Bittu joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the party headquarters in Delhi on Tuesday ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
The fight broke out between two groups at a wedding in the Lodhi Vihar area of Aligarh. The deceased was identified as Bhura Pandit alias Bittu Sharma (24).
