All eyes are on the Araria Assembly constituency as the district prepares for polling in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. The seat, a key battleground, will witness a keen contest between the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the Mahagathbandhan (MGB) on November 11.
Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday said that the Mahagathbandhan would face a massive defeat in the ongoing Bihar Assembly polls, and after this loss, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) would disintegrate.
Addressing a press conference in Patna, Bihar Deputy CM said, "I am a political worker of the BJP. There is no vacancy here (in NDA). Nitish Kumar is the Chief Minister today and will remain so."
Speaking to reporters, BJP leader said, "The NDA is receiving record votes, there was record turnout in the first phase, and I appeal to the people of Bihar to come out and vote in record numbers in the second phase as well."
Ahead of the polling for the second phase of the Bihar elections, Union Minister Giriraj Singh expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government would be formed with a huge majority.
Speaking to reporters, Akhilesh Yadav said, "Tejashwi ji is going to win Bihar and form the government. You can see the public support he has been getting. People will not let any conspiracy succeed."
Following the culmination of the campaign for the second phase of the Bihar polls, Union Minister Chirag Paswan expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) would form the government with a big victory in the state.
Prime Minister Modi, during a rally in Bihar on Saturday, had taken a swipe at the Opposition Mahagathbandhan, declaring, "Nahi chahiye katta sarkaar, phir ek baar NDA sarkaar" (We don't want a gun-wielding government, we want the NDA government again).
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi wished RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav a happy birthday, expressing hope for their joint mission to bring change, employment, equality, and progress to Bihar through their alliance ahead of the ongoing state assembly elections.
