Janshakti Janta Dal (JJD) Founder Tej Pratap Yadav on Monday confirmed that the party will actively contest the upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly elections.
Soon after Election Commission announced the schedule for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav Tejashwi Yadav on Monday said "every Bihari will be the CM that is change maker."
"We all know that the Election Commission of India has lost its credibility. They have started to work like the BJP's organisation itself. Today is 6th of October, and the elections are going to be announced as per the media reports", Tagore told ANI.
Samajwadi Party MP Awadhesh Prasad on Monday expressed his hopes that the Election Commission of India (ECI) will strictly enforce the right to vote and conduct free and fair elections in the upcoming Bihar Assembly polls. The ECI is set to announce the election schedule today at 4 pm.
The party said that they want the Election Commission (EC) to clarify the final SIR list and provide details on the 3,66,000 voters whose names were deleted, including reasons for removal.
Ahead of the Assembly polls in Bihar, Janata Dal (United) Parbatta MLA Dr Sanjeev Kumar joined the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on Friday. Leader of the Opposition in Bihar and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav welcomed him to the party.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Tuesday published the final electoral roll for the Bihar assembly elections following the completion of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).
