"People of Bihar want change. They want the Govt of Mahagathbandhan this time. Yadav further hit out at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, saying that people of Bihar do not want a CM who pleads, they want a CM who roars like a lion. He said Novemebr 14 will be written in golden letters in history.
"For 20 years, they gave crime, corruption, bureaucracy, tyranny and scam to the state. People of Bihar are done with this. CM is not in his senses. We don't want a CM who pleads, we want a CM who roars like a lion. Someone who can fight for the rights of the people of Bihar and get them justice. 14th Nov date will be written in golden letters in history," Yadav, who served as deputy chief minister in the previous Mahagathbandhan government said.
Meanwhile, RJD MP Manoj Jha said, "After today's official announcement by the Election Commissioners, Bihar elections have officially begun. Model Code of Conduct has been implemented... We need a referee in the form of the Election Commission, who does not side with any party..."
In the 2020 assembly elections, the RJD emerged as the single largest party with 75 seats, while the BJP was a close second with 74 seats. Both parties have a strong and committed voter base. With the entry of a new player in Jan Suraaj , this election promises to be a close contest, with the smaller parties expected to play a crucial role in the formation of the next government. (ANI)
