Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will secure a two-thirds majority in the upcoming Bihar assembly elections.
The first phase of the 2025 Bihar assembly elections is set to commence on November 12, in just 8 days. The Raghopur constituency is emerging once again as one of the most closely watched constituencies in the state.
The Delhi CM also claimed that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the Yamuna ghats in the national capital had transformed, enabling devotees to perform rituals with dignity.
Speaking to reporters, Manjhi said, "What can he say for votes. Their government did not give the Bharat Ratna to Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar. When this government came, it was given to him. Rahul Gandhi has no right to speak."
Drawing parallels with the Pandavas from the epic Mahabharata, Shah described the NDA's five-party alliance as a united and formidable force, determined to work together for the progress of Bihar.
Shah alleged that RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav wants his son to become the Chief Minister, while Congress leader Sonia Gandhi wants her son to become the Prime Minister. However, Shah pointed out that neither post is currently vacant, implying that Nitish Kumar is the current CM of Bihar
Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor on Wednesday slammed both National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and Mahagathbandhan over migration of people from Bihar, calling Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav "the root of troubles" in the State.
