"Upcoming elections opportunity to make Bihar free from jungle raj": Amit Shah reiterates allies' unity, calls them Pandavas

Samastipur (Bihar) [India], October 29 (ANI): Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday addressed an election rally in Samastipur, Bihar, asserting that the upcoming state assembly elections present a crucial opportunity for the people to reject the "jungle raj" and choose the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) for a stable and developed future.
Drawing parallels with the Pandavas from the epic Mahabharata, Shah described the NDA's five-party alliance as a united and formidable force, determined to work together for the progress of Bihar.
NDA is led by the Bharatiya Janata Party, Janata Dal (United), and includes Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular), and Rashtriya Lok Morcha.
"...The upcoming elections are an opportunity to make Bihar free from jungle raj. In the NDA, all five allies, like the Pandavas, are contesting the elections together...NDA's victory in the Bihar elections is certain..." Amit Shah said while addressing supporters.
The NDA has been vocal about the potential return of "jungle raj" if the opposition, led by the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), comes to power. This narrative aims to sway voters by highlighting the law-and-order issues that plagued Bihar in the past.
Shah emphasised the NDA's commitment to ensuring peace, stability, and development in Bihar, highlighting the alliance's achievements during its previous tenure.
He also accused them of promoting dynastic politics while campaigning in Begusarai for the upcoming Bihar Assembly polls.
Shah alleged that RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav wants his son to become the Chief Minister, while Congress leader Sonia Gandhi wants her son to become the Prime Minister. However, Shah pointed out that neither post is currently vacant, implying that Nitish Kumar is the current CM of Bihar and Narendra Modi is the PM of India.
Shah, while campaigning in Begusarai, said, "Lalu ji wants his son to become the Chief Minister and Sonia Gandhi wants her son to become the Prime Minister."
He added, "I want to say this to Sonia ji and Lalu ji- 'Bihar mein na CM pad khali hai, Delhi mein PM pad khali hai. Aapke beto ka number nahi lagne wala hai."
He also questioned the inclusion of alleged Bangladeshi infiltrators in the state's voter list and linked their removal to electoral support for the BJP.
"Rahul Baba had come here a month and a half ago. Now, after a month, he has come again today. When he came earlier, he had taken out a 'Ghuspaithiya Bachao Yatra'. Today I have come to ask the people of Begusarai, should Bangladeshi infiltrators be included in the Bihar price payer list?" Shah said, addressing a public gathering in Begusarai.
Mahagathbandhan, led by Rashtriya Janata Dal, includes Congress party, the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (CPI-ML) led by Deepankar Bhattacharya, the Communist Party of India (CPI), the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM), and Mukesh Sahani's Vikasheel Insaan Party (VIP).
Additionally, Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj has staked claims to all 243 seats in the state. The assembly elections will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11. The results will be declared on November 14. (ANI)
