Powerstar and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Pawan Singh on Thursday urged voters to come out of their homes and cast vote in the Bihar assembly elections, stating that he has voted for the sake of development.
The highest voter turnout of 15.27 per cent was recorded in Saharsa district of the state among all districts, while Lakhisarai recorded a sluggish turnout of 7 per cent.

Criticising the poll promises made by the RJD leader, the JSP founder was campaigning Bihar's Bhojpur for party candidate. "Tejashwi Yadav should tell us what he would do post-retirement. He is losing elections. He is saying anything," Kishor told ANI.
"Today, Prime Minister Modi is coming to Bhojpur Arrah, where lakhs of people and workers will welcome him. After the Bhojpur Arrah rally, he will go to Nawada and then will do a road show from Dinkar Chowk in Patna at 5 pm," said Jaiswal.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a jibe at Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and said that if Rahul Gandhi joined the Bihar election campaign, then the National Democratic Alliance (NDA's) victory would be granted.
"PM Modi has programmes in Chhapra and Muzaffarpur on October 30," Jaiswal told reporters. "On November 2, the PM has programmers in Nawada, Arrah, Bhojpur and Patna," he added.
However, Khesari Lal Yadav said he does not trivialise the matter and added that Ravi Kishan is like an elder brother to him and "can say anything." "Bade bhai hai wo kuch bhi bol skte hai," he stated.
