In a series of independent and joint operations, since January 26, the Border Security Force (BSF) Tripura Frontier has apprehended 14 Bangladeshi nationals and two Indian touts involved in illegal cross-border activities along the India-Bangladesh border.
The swift action came following a specific intelligence tip-off that led to a thorough search operation in the East Jaintia Hills region along the Indo-Bangladesh border.

Daljit Singh Chaudhry, Director General of Border Security Force (BSF) on Tuesday during his one-day visit to BSF Guwahati Frontier, reviewed the current security scenario and operational preparedness along the India-Bangladesh International Border.
