Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party chief JP Nadda on Tuesday welcomed the Election Commission of India's announcement of the Delhi Assembly Elections and urged the people of Delhi to choose a government that focuses on providing quality services to make everyday life easier.
Aam Aadmi Party national convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday exuded confidence in winning the Delhi Assembly elections and said that with full strength and enthusiasm, AAP workers are ready for the polls.

Ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, the New Delhi District Administration has requested police protection for the District Election Officer due to concerns about potential disruptions to the electoral process.
"Congress and AAP were fighting the Lok Sabha elections together. However, the situation which has formed in the Vidhan Sabha (assembly) elections, it looks as if they are trying to help the BJP. Our fight should be against the BJP - in Delhi and the country," Raut told ANI.
