A day after being sacked as a minister following his critical remarks against Ashok Gehlot government over recent incidents of crimes against women in Rajasthan, Rajendra Singh Gudha on Saturday said that he will keep speaking until he is alive.
While speaking to ANI, Pralhad Joshi said," I want to say Rajasthan has been a place of great culture where women were given the highest respect but today's situation shows that it is the most unsafe state for women. The law and order situation has collapsed."
Hitting out at the Rajasthan government over the crimes against women in the state, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Friday said that it has totally failed to prevent such incidents.
After the Rajasthan government sacked its minister of state Rajendra Singh Gudha on Friday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) lashed out at the Ashok Gehlot government for its decision accusing it of being “addicted to use and throw”.
Talking to the media, BJP MP PP Chaudhary said, "It is shocking to see how the culprits are having the courage to do such acts. There should be a compensation of at least Rs 1 crore for the next of kin of the deceased."
Union Minister for Women and Child Development, Smriti Irani on Thursday informed via Twitter that both the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights and National Commission for Women have taken cognizance in the Rajasthan's Jodhpur incident.
Rajasthan BJP president said, "The incident is shameful, the Chief Minister should resign from his post for this incident which took place in the home district of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot".
