BJP on Saturday released its first list of 29 candidates for Delhi assembly elections setting the stage for multi-cornered contests on several seats in the capital with AAP leaders former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Atishi in triangular contests on their seats.

BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla on Saturday, launched a sharp attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), alleging that despite promising to fight corruption, the party has instead been embroiled in scams everywhere over the past decade.
"I want to take all the people of Delhi to see Sheesh Mahal. I am writing a letter to CM Atishi to open the doors of Sheesh Mahal because the people of Delhi want to see what happened to the tax they paid," he told reporters on Saturday.

Lashing out at Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday said that he built a Sheesh Mahal using Delhiites' money and that he needs to give an account to the people of the national capital.
Earlier in the day, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Delhi President Virendraa Sachdeva lashed out at Arvind Kejriwal's statement on the water situation in the city and alleged that he was lying.
