Police arrested two people involved in drugs smuggling and recovered two kilograms of narcotics from Taad area of Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara on Wednesday, as informed by the police officials.
The arrested smugglers identified as Dalbir and Jagdish, both residents of Gharinda in Amritsar, were engaged in drug trafficking for the last three years and have no criminal case registered against them, according to a statement from Information and Public Relations Department, Punjab.
Punjab Police on Wednesday arrested two associates of Gangster Rajan Bhatti, during a raid at Sushant City in Bathinda,and recovered two illegal weapons from their possession, officials said.
