Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uikey on Thursday visited a relief camp at Naorem Birahari College at Khundrakpam in Imphal East district and interacted with the displaced people who have taken shelter there.
"In the current situation, I appreciate Rahul Gandhi's visit to the state. However, the focus should be on solving the situation and bringing back peace. The issue should not be politicised," Sharda Devi said.

Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uikey on Monday called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rastrapati Bhavan in New Delhi and apprised her about the prevailing situation in the violence-hit state.
As per the official records close to 47,000 people have been evacuated in the violence-torn situation and hundreds of people lost their homes which were gutted in the violence.
