Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday expressed his happiness over the main event of the 11th International Yoga Day, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi led in Visakhapatnam.
"We are proud because the Prime Minister created a movement and for the last 11 years he was driving this movement from the front and we are very lucky that this time he gave Andhra Pradesh the opportunity to showcase our talent," Minister Lokesh told ANI in Visakhapatnam.
He further stated that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address from Andhra Pradesh on Yoga Day has acknowledged India's tradition and knowledge of Yoga.
As part of the International Yoga Day celebrations, a massive yoga session was organised at the AC Subba Reddy Stadium in Nellore city in Andhra Pradesh, with Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy and District Collector O Anand leading the event.
Along with the 11000 naval personnel, their family members joined them in the International Yoga Day celebrations. The Eastern Naval Command joined hands with the YogAndhra 2025 initiative, which was spearheaded by the Ministry of Ayush and the State Government of Andhra Pradesh.
