"Very proud of today's event": Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu following International Yoga Day event in Vizag

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday expressed his happiness over the main event of the 11th International Yoga Day, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi led in Visakhapatnam.

Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) [India], June 21 (ANI): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday expressed his happiness over the main event of the 11th International Yoga Day, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi led in Visakhapatnam.
Chandrababu Naidu mentioned that Andhra Pradesh has a total of 23 records, and apart from that, the awareness that has been brought by the government cannot be measured.
"I am very proud of today's event; it was a great event for a noble cause. Now, Yoga is a game-changer. We got two Guinness World Records and 21 World Book of Records. We got a total of 23 records. Apart from that, you cannot measure the awareness we have brought. That is the biggest success of this event", Chandrababu Naidu told ANI.
Furthermore, the Andhra Pradesh CM mentioned that for 30 days, the government conducted many programs which gathered a lot of people. He said that on 12 lakh locations, 10 crore people across 175 countries performed yoga in the past 30 days.
He informed that only in Andhra Pradesh, more than 2.3 crore people on 1.43 lakh locations yoga was performed yoga, which is beyond imagination.
"That is the biggest success of this event. For 30 days, we conducted programs. Every day, so many places and so many people were involved...That is the culmination of today's success. All over the world, 12 lakh locations, 10 crore people and 175 countries; in Andhra Pradesh, more than 2.3 crore people, 1.43 lakh locations - can you imagine? That is the response, that is the spontaneity and people's movement. So, we are very proud of it. Everybody is realising the benefits of Yoga", Chandrababu Naidu added.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part in the 11th International Day of Yoga celebrations, where he hailed yoga as a gift "beyond age" that transcends all boundaries and unites humanity in "health and harmony."
The event took place against the scenic backdrop of the Visakhapatnam coastline, with Indian Navy ships stationed near the shore, adding to the grandeur of the celebrations.
The Prime Minister praised the efforts of the Andhra Pradesh government and extended his appreciation to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan for hosting the event in Visakhapatnam. He lauded their leadership as "inspiring" and described the state's initiative to promote yoga as "commendable."
"Yoga is for everyone beyond boundaries, beyond backgrounds, beyond age or physical ability. It is a universal gift that unites humanity in health, harmony, and consciousness. Friends, I am truly delighted that we are gathered here in Visakhapatnam, a city that beautifully blends nature with progress. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Chandrababu Naidu Garu and Pawan Kalyan for hosting such a wonderful event under your inspiring leadership. It is commendable that the state of Andhra Pradesh has taken this meaningful initiative to promote yoga," said PM Modi while addressing the gathering. (ANI)
