West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose on Sunday offered prayers at a Durga Puja pandal in Raja Bazar in West Bengal's Kolkata on the occasion of 'Maha Ashtami', the eighth day of Navratri.
"Since we have waited for two years, we can wait for a few more days. If we do not get an appropriate response by October 31, Trinamool Congress will organise a larger movement from November 1. This time, Mamata Banerjee will lead the movement," Banerjee said.
West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose announced the Rs 5 lakh 'Bengaliana' award for the best 'Durga Puja' pandal in the state here on Thursday, as per a press release from Raj Bhavan.
In his post on X, Adhikari claimed that West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose has instructed the Chief Secretary to remove the agitators from within the prohibitory area around the Raj Bhavan where Section 144 has been imposed.
