US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan on Monday met with his Indian counterpart, Ajit Doval, with discussions focused on fostering joint production and development of strategic technologies to deliver "secure, reliable, and cost-competitive" technology solutions for global challenges.

National Security Adviser Ajit Doval met his US counterpart Jake Sullivan here on Monday and the two leaders reviewed progress in their high-level dialogue including in diverse fields such as defence, cyber and maritime security.
During his meeting with Ajit Doval, Sullivan will discuss issues ranging from space, defence, strategic technology cooperation as well as shared security priorities in the Indo-Pacific region, US National Security Council Spokesperson Sean Savett said in a statement.
Further, being asked about the ongoing row over H1B visas, the MEA spokesperson pointed to the "strong and growing economic and technological partnership" between New Delhi and Washington and said they look forward to further deepening the economic ties between the two nations.
MEA said that India and China have reaffirmed their commitment to explore a "fair, reasonable and mutually acceptable framework" for the settlement of the boundary question in accordance with the political parameters and guiding principles agreed in 2005.
