All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) MLAs walked out of the state assembly during the budget presentation over the alleged Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation Limited (TASMAC) scam on Friday.
He also stated that the CM's only achievement was elevating his son and giving away all contracts to his family members, further stating that DMK had shattered all hopes and dreams of Tamilians.
CM Stalin also announced that a Joint Action Committee would be formed representing Southern States, with MPs, to carry forward these demands and protests and create awareness about the importance of this issue.
BJP leader Prakash Reddy criticized the DMK and AIADMK opposition regarding the controversy over the three-language policy. He alleged that the DMK and AIADMK oppose the policy for political gain and to secure power.
AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami on Sunday slammed Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, accusing him of playing a "double game" with the BJP-led Centre. He said that his party would follow only the two-language policy.
Stalin emphasised that the state's Chief Minister, MK Stalin, has made it clear that Tamil Nadu rejects the NEP, delimitation, and Hindi imposition. He accused the central government of trying to "impose Hindi sideways" and through the NEP.
AIADMK National Spokesperson Kovai Sathyan on Saturday said that the BJP's decision to boycott the all-party meeting on delimitation's impact on Tamil Nadu will not send a good or right signal. He also alleged a "secret understanding" between the BJP and DMK.
Former minister and All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) leader Sellur K Raju has alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) are in a secret alliance regarding the three-language policy.
He further stated that the New Education Policy (NEP) was the best policies seen by the people and was aiming to promote both mother tongue and national link language --English.
Speaking to ANI over AIADMK's protest, DMK Spokesperson TKS Elangovan said, "We have suspended many teachers. We have brought in legislation. Even today the minister said that their certificates will be withdrawn. They cannot work as teachers."
