BJP leaders and allies expressed strong confidence ahead of the 2026 Tamil Nadu polls, backing Nainar Nagendran's leadership. Party leaders said the BJP-AIADMK alliance is gaining momentum and vowed to remove the DMK government from power.
AIADMK National Spokesperson Kovai Sathyan said the party-led alliance would form the government in 2026. He criticised the DMK for dynasty politics and corruption, asserting that the alliance is backed by a common minimum programme for Tamil Nadu's welfare.
This comes after DMK chief and CM Stalin on Saturday attacked the BJP and AIADMK leadership and said that the people of the state will never tolerate a "treacherous alliance that bows to Delhi and betrays Tamil Nadu."
