On the fourth day of the Parliament Monsoon session on Tuesday, several MPs from opposition parties have given notices in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, seeking a discussion on the Manipur issue, which has been a key reason for the continuous logjam in both Houses since the session commenced.
Tewari said the procurement of such Surveillance Technology without parliamentary oversight has grave implications for the right to privacy of individuals guaranteed under Article 21 of the Indian Constitution
In the adjournment notice, Tewari said," That this House do suspend Zero Hour and other businesses of the day to discuss the Disqualification of Shri Rahul Gandhi."
