At least four police officers lost their lives, and three sustained injuries after a vehicle overturned in the Sindhi city of Kandhkot, ARY News reported on Sunday.
Meanwhile, a van carrying Amarnath pilgrims met with an accident near Chandanwari in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam, leaving at least two persons injured, officials said on Sunday.
According to the Superintendent of Police (SP), Bilaspur, Rajnish Singh, "A bus full of passengers overturned in Bilaspur. The incident took place on the Lalkhadan Over Bridge in Torwa police station area. More than 50 passengers were travelling in the bus."
"Today, a van carrying Shri Amarnath Ji Yatris met with an accident near Chandanwari. The pilgrims sustained serious head injuries & were promptly evacuated by the #BSF QRT (Quick Response Team) to a nearby hospital," the Border Security Force (BSF) said in a post on X.

Five Indian Army personnel died after a tank they were travelling in got struck in the Shyok River in Eastern Ladakh on Friday night due to a sudden increase in the water level, said the army.
A mishap took place in the Daulat Beg Oldie area of Ladakh during a tank exercise of crossing the river on Friday in the sector due to a sudden increase in water levels there, said Defence officials.
