Aam Aadmi Party National General Secretary (Organization) and Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak on Monday slammed the central government over train accidents happening in quick succession in the country saying that it is the result of a failed system.
According to District Magistrate, Badaun, Manoj Kumar, "The road accident took place when both the bus and van carrying school students collided with each other on Mayun Nabiganj Road in the Usawan police station area of Badaun district."
Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury slammed the Central government on Andhra Pradesh's train accident and said, where are your anti-collision devices which were meant to prevent these kinds of accidents?
Biswajit Sahu, Chief Public Relations Officer of East Coast Railway said that the rescue operation is over and the focus has now shifted to track restoration work.

As many as 33 trains were cancelled and six others rescheduled so far after two trains collided in Andhra Pradesh's Vizianagaram leaving 13 dead, East Coast Railway officials informed on Monday.
"Frontal collisions between trains, derailment of compartments, helpless passengers trapped in coaches and succumbing to fate: this is becoming a most unfortunate repetitive trope!!," Mamata added.
