The anti-corruption branch (ACB) of the Delhi government on Wednesday registered a case against AAP leader and former MLA Satyendar Jain levelling allegations of corruption and bribery in connection with the Rs 571 crore CCTV project for the national capital.
According to Madhur Verma, Joint Commissioner of Police (CP) and Head of ACB, the liquidated damages worth Rs 16 crore were allegedly arbitrarily waived by receiving a bribe of Rs 7 crore.

In an anti-corruption operation, the Delhi Police's Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) has arrested two individuals, including a government stenographer, for allegedly demanding a bribe in connection with the revocation of a GST registration suspension.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday arrested Manyam Narsimha Reddy, a Revenue Inspector at the Dubbaka Tahsildar Office in Siddipet district, for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 1 lakh.
According to the ACB sources, if no reply is received from the AAP, then ACB would write to Delhi Police to take legal action against AAP leaders including Arvind Kejriwal, Mukesh Ahlawat and Sanjay Singh in the next few days.
