BJP MP Yogender Chandoliya on Friday demanded the immediate closure of Delhi's Mohalla Clinics, accusing them of being a "model of corruption" linked to former Chief Ministers Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi.
Addressing a press conference, Atishi alleged that BJP MLAs are engaged in a tussle over ministerial berths and would ultimately blame the AAP for failing to deliver on their electoral commitments.
Earlier today, BJP National Spokesperson RP Singh alleged that all was not well in Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann-led state where there is a protest against Kejriwal, especially after he lost the recent Delhi Assembly election.
The BJP won a historic mandate in Delhi polls, returning to power in the national capital after 27 years by ousting AAP. It secured a two-thirds majority bagging 48 out of 70 seats, while AAP's tally saw a massive drop to 22 from its previous tally of 62.
Malhotra's comments came in response to a meeting between Punjab MLAs, ministers, and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal after a crushing defeat of the party in the recently concluded Delhi Assembly polls.
A BJP leader Vijender Gupta has criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and described years of misgovernance in Delhi, stating that the party failed to fulfill its commitments while in power.
Speaking to ANI, Sachdeva said, "AAP leader and Outgoing Delhi CM Atishi should tell why was she dancing yesterday on the loss of Arvind Kejriwal...They still have to give an account of the loot that Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi did for the past 10 years..."
Speaking about his meeting with Kejriwal, AAP leader Mukesh Ahlawat said that the national convenor had ordered the leaders to play the role of the Opposition strongly.
Raj said that Congress has harmed itself more than AAP, as it failed to connect with the voters who were added to the party during Lok Sabha elections and hence they switched to the BJP in assembly elections.
Holding AAP responsible for the condition of Yamuna, the Prime Minister said that people in Delhi were hurt. He further accused AAP-da (tragedy) of "insulting" people's faith.
