In the early hours of Sunday morning, a fatal road accident unfolded near Ananthapuram rural of Andhra Pradesh, resulting in the untimely demise of three individuals and leaving one person injured.
As many as two people including a 12-year-old child were killed on Wednesday when an Afghan sentry opened "unprovoked and indiscriminate" firing on pedestrians at the Chaman border in Balochistan, the military's media affairs wing said, Dawn reported.
Giving information about the case, the official said, "The incident took place today morning in Fatehpur village of Rudrapur Kotwali area of Deoria district. A longstanding land dispute between two families took a tragic turn and six people were killed."
Three of them identified as Bijendra Shakya, Atul Nai and Aryan died during treatment at the medical college hospital while the condition of the fourth Ajay Kumar remains critical.

At least three people were killed while a four-year-old boy sustained bullet wounds when armed criminals opened fire at them over 'personal enmity' in Karachi's Baldia Town, ARY News reported on Thursday.
Four people died, and one got injured critically in a severe road accident on Bhadrash Rohru link road near Shalun Kaichi in the Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh, Rampur Police officials said.
According to the police, the victims were travelling in a car which reportedly collided with a tree at Baldeo Road area in Mathura. There were five people on board when the incident took place, they said.
"7 people died, 1 critically injured. The injured is being shifted to District Hospital Kishtwa," said Deputy Commissioner of Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav.
