Total value of imports to Israel USD 89.5 billion in 2024
The Israel Tax Authority reported that the total value of all imports in 2024 amounted to USD 89.5 billion, an increase of only 1 per cent compared to 2023. In December 2024, it amounted to USD 9.3 billion, an increase of 29.5 per cent compared to the value of imports in December 2023. The increase was largely explained by a sharp increase in vehicle imports. The value of imports would have been higher in December 2023 if it were not for the security threat in the transfer of goods through the Red Sea.
