Meta and WhatsApp on Monday informed the Supreme Court that they would comply, by March 16, with the directions issued by the NCLAT, which mandate safeguards on user consent for data sharing, even as their appeal against the NCLAT ruling remains pending.

In its representation addressed to the Ministry, the Association expressed appreciation for the Government's timely advisory urging Indian nationals to return to India in view of the evolving situation in Iran. However, it highlighted the serious concerns raised by hundreds of Indian students, including a significant number from Jammu and Kashmir, who are presently in the midst of crucial academic examinations.

Speaking about the protest, the ASHA worker slammed the Congress government in the state and demanded salaries that had been on hold for so long.

Inaugurating the National Level Mega Awareness Program organised by the National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (NSIC) under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, in coordination with the Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Khandu, while citing national data, noted that the MSME sector currently supports over 7 crore enterprises across the country, benefiting more than 31 crore people.

Speaking with the media after the meeting, Malakpet MLA Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala alleged that eight Muslim individuals were wrongly arrested and false cases were filed against them. He said the delegation requested the DGP to immediately release the arrested persons and withdraw the cases.

Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said on Monday that there was pressure from parents to ban mobile use for students, stating the ban is still under discussion.
